Delwyn |
Delwyn has an extensive background as a professional
florist with more than 40 years experience in all facets
of the nursery, horticulture and floriculture industry.
She carries on a long family tradition as the third
generation of her family in horticulture, cut flower
production and floristry. Her speciality, you've guessed
it, is Wedding Flowers.
Delwyn has been the floral consultant to the Modern
Weddings Flowers magazine since the first issue almost
12 years ago. You can see her designs in Modern Weddings
Flowers magazine, on the Wildflowers Australia website
and in numerous other publications.
Formerly located in the Kurrajong Village, Delwyn
recently moved to Forster on the Mid North Coast of NSW
where she continues to consult, teach and supply first
class wedding flowers. Obviously she cant do all of this
alone, she has a wonderful, talented and hard working
team who work with her.
Michelle (Shelly) Grant, her senior assistant who worked
for 14 years in the floral studio at Kurrajong now
operates independently from her studio in East Blaxland,
in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney and continues to
supply magnificent wedding flowers to brides and groom
in the Nepean, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Hills
District and with special deliveries throughout Sydney.
With enormous experience and excellent skills in
coordination, communication and quality, Shelly works
closely with the staff at Chapel Hill Retreat at Bilpin,
The Sebel, Hawkesbury Spa and Resort at Windsor,
Yarramundi House at Richmond, Riverside Oaks at Cattai
and Loxley on Bellbird Hill, in the Kurrajong Hills.

many, many hundreds of weddings in these venues over the

Maria Pagnan, our wonderful friend who radiates passion,
energy and skill with flowers is an incredible support
to both Shelly and Del and works with both. Maria is
rapidly gaining her own following of happy brides.
 Delwyn has recently teamed up with Sue Hedditch from
Gloucester, who shares Delwyn’s passion for beautiful
wedding designs. They offer their enormous experience
and style in providing Wedding flowers to
brides and grooms who celebrate their weddings on the
Mid North Coast, from Buladelah to Gloucester, from
Pacific Palms to Port Macquarie and the adjoining
regions. Sue Hedditch also runs her own business,
Gloucester Flowers, which services Gloucester, Forster,

To keep abreast of new trends, skills and techniques in
the Flower Industry, Del frequently attends workshops
with leading designers and cut flower growers in
Australia and overseas. She has been a guest judge at
the Bridal Industry Awards at the Melbourne
International Flower and Garden Show and at the 2003
Ellerslie Flower Show, New Zealand.
Yet with running her wedding flower business, magazine
writing and consulting, teaching at the technical
college and all, Delwyn still makes time for the work
she enjoys the most... selecting and preparing Wedding
Flowers. Why? She and her team love to see the joy
reflected on the faces of the bride and groom.
