| Frequently Asked
Questions |
Question: Do
I need to know what flowers I want before I come to see
you?
Answer: No definitely not, we need you to tell us
what your overall theme or colour theme is, then we
advise you what flowers are in season and in the colour
range at that time of year. If you have your own ideas
or photos of something you have seen that is great, just
bring them along to the interview and we can discuss the
flower availability and bouquet styles. Don’t forget to
bring a colour swatch of the fabric in your gowns if you
have it.
Question: Do you deliver the flowers to me on
the day?
Answer: Yes we bring the flowers to you, wherever
you are getting dressed and ready for your wedding, we
then set up the flowers in the church and reception,
well in advance of the ceremony etc. If you choose to
arrange with us to have them picked up at a pre arranged
time that is okay as well.
Question: Do you charge a delivery fee?
Answer: Yes we do, we try to keep it to a minimum
depending on the kilometers and time necessary, however
we believe it is a small price to pay for complete
confidence that your flowers are going to arrive on time
and be presented in the best possible condition.
Question: Do I put my flowers in the fridge
after they arrive?.
Answer: NO!! definitely not, a food refrigerator
is set at a lower temperature and is designed to take
the moisture out. For flower storage the temperature
needs to be set at approx. 10degrees C with humidity
supplied.
Question: Is it possible that you can supply
imported flowers of my chosen flower is out of season
locally?
Answer: Yes this is possible however we always
try to support local growers. Some flowers, e.g.
dendrobium and vanda orchids are shipped from overseas
on a regular basis, this is quite successful and allows
us to supply most flower colours all year round. This
supply may be affected by public holidays and seasonal
fluctuations however we can discuss these details in
your interview. We prefer to supply Australian grown
roses where possible.
Question: Do you have a shop front?
Answer: No, As a wedding specialist we choose to
work from a registered home studio, this enables us to
concentrate on your wedding without interruptions and
helps keep the overhead costs down. It is essential that
you make an appointment to discuss your flowers.
